Resonate
#RESONATE is a creative writing project designed to give underrepresented young people, ages 15-18, a platform to express themselves and amplify their voices, to explore what they want to say and how they want to tell their stories. The final outcome of the project is a live spoken word performance at The Bridport Literary Festival and a published anthology of the work which will be shared in all our local bookshops, online and with our ever growing readership. The project aims to give marginalised groups, who may otherwise be excluded from regular arts activities because of rural isolation, social exclusion or lack of prior engagement in the cultural community, broader skills and more confidence in their creative writing skills. Young writers whose voices are often under-represented and not heard such as; young people in care/care leavers, young offenders, asylum seekers and refugees, young people with disabilities, young carers, young people who are NEET and neurodiverse young people.
